Summer LIHEAP Assistance Program Opens July 6, 2026

The Central Arkansas Development Council (CADC) will begin accepting applications for the 2026 Summer Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) starting July 6, with special mass intake events planned across five Arkansas counties during the program’s opening week.
Mass Intake Days will be held in Miller, Ouachita, Union, Columbia and Pulaski counties from July 6-10. Residents in those counties must attend the designated event in their county to apply during the first week of the program.

Washington Community Development Center
1900 Marietta St., Texarkana
July 7 in Ouachita County
First United Methodist Church (Activity Center)
121 Harrison Ave. SW, Camden
July 8 in Union County
Municipal Auditorium (Lobby)
100 W. 8th St., El Dorado
July 9 in Columbia County
First United Methodist Church (Activity Center)
320 W. Main St., Magnolia
July 10 in Pulaski County
Arkansas State Fair Grounds (Arts and Crafts Building)
2600 Howard St., Little Rock
Residents must apply in the county where they live. For those living in the five counties hosting mass intake events, these gatherings will be the only opportunity to apply during the week of July 6 through their local CADC office or designated intake location.
