CADC April 18th & 19th Commodities in Saline, Montgomery & Pike Counties

CADC announces Commodity Distributions schedued for Tuesday, April 18th and Wednesday April 19th in Saline, Montgomery and Pike Counties. See locations below. Distributions are from 9:00am to 11:30am and then from noon til 3pm.

 

Food Items May Include: Applesauce; Beef Stew; Carrots, Corn Flakes, Cranberry Juice, Frozen Cherries, Green Beans, Peanut Butter, Dry Pinto Beans; Potato Flakes, Raisins, Refried Beans, UHT Milk, Vegetable Soup.

Benton Senior Center's NEW LOCATION as of 4/3/17

The CADC Benton Senior Activity Center will be in its brand new location at 1800 Citizens Drive in the Riverside Park serving lunch starting Monday, April 3, 2017. The Grand Opening will be on Saturday, April 1st with the Pre-Opening Ceremony Entertainment beginning at 9:30am. The Senior Activity Center will be open from 11:50am til 5pm for you to come out and see what's new for Seniors in the Benton Area. Please note that commodity distributions will still be at the 210 Jefferson location.

Regular LIHEAP Program ends on Friday, March 31, 2017. Crisis LIHEAP applications accepted in all 12 CADC Counties

CADC announces that the LIHEAP Regular Assistance is ending on Friday, March 31, 2017. LIHEAP Crisis Utility Assistance applications are still being accepted in all 12 CADC services counties.

Arkadelphia SCAT Changing Hours for Dial-A-Trip

CADC announces that: starting February 27, 2017 S.C.A.T. Arkadelphia SCAT will have different hours for same day trips (dial-a-trip). We will now be taking calls from 8:00am till 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday. If you need transportation before 8:00 am, please call the day before by 12:00 pm to be put on the schedule. 2017 CADC Winter Regular LIHEAP Program

Central Arkansas Development Council
Central Arkansas Development Council announces that the CADC Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program Winter Assistance Program is scheduled to begin the week of January 9, 2017. CADC is the Community Action Agency in Lonoke, Pulaski, Saline, Hot Spring, Clark, Pike, Montgomery, Columbia, Union, Ouachita, Dallas and Calhoun counties in Arkansas. This utility assistance is a one time payment for a REGULAR heating bill and applications will be accepted as long as funds are available.

Benton and Bryant Senior Wellness and Activity Centers

Benton & Bryant, Ark. - Central Arkansas Development Council's Benton and Bryant Senior Centers have received designation from the Arkansas Department of Human Services/Division of Aging and Adult Services as an Arkansas Senior Wellness and Activity Center.

The centers have incorporated seven elements of wellness into their regularly scheduled programs and activities, including physical wellness, intellectual wellness, social wellness, environmental wellness, vocational wellness, spiritual wellness and emotional wellness.
