US Senator Mark Pryor to Speak

��"Central Arkansas Development Council, Entergy Arkansas and the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services are sponsoring the 2010 Low Income Advocates Leadership and Community Development Conference Sept. 8-9 at the Doubletree Hotel in Little Rock, Ark. A limited number of scholarships are available for low income advocates.  Registration materials are found here.

 

US Senator Mark Pryor will speak at the conference on September 8 at 11:30 a.m.  The conference focuses on issues that impact low to moderate income families in the state, including Low Income Home Energy Assistance and Weatherization.

 

Other speakers include Jerome Ringo, president of Apollo Alliance, Ron Anderson, a motivational speaker, and a panel discussion regarding ARRA funding facilitated by executive producer and host of Talk Business Roby Brock.

 

The conference registration fee is $99 per person for the entire conference, $75 for Group Registration, (Full Conference only, 5 or more persons from the same organization), $65 for Wednesday only, or $35 for the Thursday Luncheon session only. The Leadership Conference is designed to bring together public policy makers, utility organizations, social service agency program managers, legislators and aides, consumer credit and collection specialists, housing specialists, nonprofit organization leaders, faith based leaders, and others concerned with the issues impacting hard-working low-income families.
