Head Start

CADC’s Head Start program encourages educational, social, physical and emotional growth among children in low-income households. With 15 fully funded centers in our area, the main focus is to increase the school readiness of young children ages 3 and 4 while empowering parents and caregivers to be self-sufficient.

In order to improve the quality of life for such families, CADC fosters family development through referrals for needed services and monthly discussions on nutrition, safety and education. By providing a place for children to learn, play and grow with others, Head Start offers parents and caregivers the necessary training and resources to support their child’s educational achievements.
